Karin Cole, LMT
Karin Cole is a New York State licensed massage therapist and a certified life coach. She is the Massage Therapy and Bereavement Coordinator for the Palliative Care Program at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. She is the founder of Monarch Integrative Care, an integrative medicine home visit program for people with serious illness. She is certificated in oncology massage, geriatric massage, and complete congestive therapy for lymphedema.
Karin is the co-founder of the Integrative Oncology Committee at the Wilmot Cancer Center, which is committed to bringing education and services of integrative medical therapies to the community and healthcare providers. She also serves as the clinical supervisor for the massage therapy program.
Karin maintains a private practice, serves on the Advisory Board for the Finger Lakes Community College Massage Program, and also facilitates a consciousness group for medical professionals on death and dying. She is also trained in Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, and has studied western Shamanism for several years.
